Corvinus University of Budapest defines itself as a research university oriented towards education. The Danube Centre for Governance Studies is a non-profit entity established by faculty members of Corvinus University. Its mission is to support academic research and dissemination activities in the field of public governance. To this end, it organised small as well as large scale scientific events (including the 2017 IRSPM Annual Conference), undertook various public governance research projects for public entities, and supported the research and mobility of a broad array of PhD students and young postdocs. The Danube Centre for Governance Studies is committed to serving the Hungarian and the international academic community of public governance and therefore is honoured to organise the 2020 Annual Conference of EGPA.
